Welcome to the website for Baldersby Mission Room. If you are looking for information concerning the Church of England in Baldersby, then you have come to the right place.

Baldersby is in the parish of Baldersby with Dishforth, and the parish church is St James', two miles away in the village of Baldersby St James.
Most of the worship and church activities happen at St James', and details can be found on the website www.baldersbychurch.com.

If you are looking for somewhere to worship, please do just come along to St James' (details of services on the website) or contact the Vicar for further details.

If you are looking to arrange a baptism, wedding or funeral, please contact the Vicar (currently vacant - please use the Get in Touch facility on this website)

The 'church' at Baldersby is the Mission Room, which is situated in the middle of the village by the crossroads. Once a year, on Christmas morning at 9.15am, worship takes place in the Mission Room - a good way to start the Christmas festivities, by putting Christ at the heart of them.

The Mission Room is a small room, simply furnished. If you would like to hire the room, please contact Mrs Susan Brown on 01765 640398

Welcome to the website for the parish church of St Columba, at Topcliffe, near Thirsk.

The Parish is part of the Benefice of Topcliffe, Baldersby with Dishforth, Dalton and Skipton on Swale. Ours is an ancient parish,  founded in the 7th Century, and more information about the history of the church can be found in the History section of this website.  We are currently in Vacancy since the retirement of our Vicar Revd Susanne Jukes in 2020. During this period we are served by our Area Dean, Revd Mary Rolls, our Churchwarden Chris Hewlett, and the PCC.

Full details of the activities in the Benefice can be found by going to the websites for the other churches, through the parish magazine Cross Talk, or by looking on the noticeboard at church.

We are a small congregation that usually meets every week and we generally have a variety of services throughout the month, details of which can be found under "Services and Events" on this website. During the Coronavirus pandemic it has not been possible to hold all our usual services, but whenever possible we have resumed regular acts of worship, and details of these can be found in the "News and notices" section of the website.

You would be most welcome to attend any of our services and if you require any more information, please use the "Get in Touch" section of this website. If planning to come do check this website first or contact John Phillips (01845 577034) to ensure the event is going ahead as planned.  It would be lovely to hear from you or to see you at one of our services.
